Methods of Analysis

Multi-Element ICP-MS

ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry) can detect trace metals down to parts per billion, making it possible to identify both common and rare elements in your ore. Sometimes the smallest details reveal the greatest opportunities.

Fire Assay

Fire assay has been a form of assaying for 100’s of years for gold and silver.  The process involves heating samples at extremely high temperatures to separate and measure metals.

Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AA)

This method involves passing a beam of light over the sample. When atoms absorb light of a characteristic wavelength, it identifies which metals are present. AA is a quick and accurate technique for confirming metal concentrations in ore.

Metallurgical Process Testing

Gravity

Gravity testing uses the natural principle of density to separate heavier minerals from lighter ones. Think of it as panning for gold — but on an industrial scale.

Floatation

In flotation, valuable minerals are carried to the surface by air bubbles, separating them from waste rock.

Leaching

Leaching uses chemical solutions to dissolve target metals, making them easier to collect. The ore is steeped in solution, allowing precise extraction.

Ion Exchange
